Renee's Surprise...

In a quick surprise wedding, kind of a shocker for Hollywood; singleton Renée Zellweger tied the knot to country star Kenny Chesney at St. Johns in the Virgin Islands.

"We do know that it was a very short romance, they first met during the NBC tsunami telethon, where Renée was manning the phones and Kenny was performing, and they caught each other's eye and the rest, as they say, is history," said correspondent Mark Steins of 'Entertainment Tonight.

Oscar winner Renee had previously dated comedian actor Jim Carrey and later was romantically linked to director Josh Pate.

There was a pre-wedding reception of about 45 guests at downtown Cruz Bay, the couple wore t-shirts and jeans and drank margaritas. The ceremony took place before close friends and family and the bride wore a dress by Caroline Herrera.
